Armstrong-Clark Announces 3 New Colors

Natural Oak
Black Walnut
Chestnut

Armstrong-Clark Company announces three new colors using high quality trans-oxide pigments to its oil base wood stain product line. Black Walnut was formulated to respond to the increased demand for a dark brown on exotic hardwoods as Armstrong-Clark continues to aggressively grow as the top rated stain for hard woods like ipe. (All their exotic hardwoods stains perform equally as well on softwoods). Chestnut was developed as a dark reddish brown for owners of pine wood decks that want their wood to resemble the color of ipe. Chestnut looks exceptionally beautiful on cedar, especially western red cedar.  Lastly, Natural Oak was formulated to respond to increased demand in customers wanting either a transparent brown or a medium brown.  Although it is technically a semi-transparent color the use or trans-oxide pigments gives it more transparency than many other semi-transparent stains. Up to know customers mixed one part Rustic Brown to one part Natural Tone to have a similar result (all colors are intermixable to create custom colors). Armstrong-Clark Company is known for having long lasting traditional oil stains that are very easy to use and a breeze to maintain. They can be applied in direct sunlight no matter how hot it is outside without getting tacky (in temperatures over 110 degrees). You can walk in them during application. It can rain on them an hour after they absorb into the wood. They do not peel or crack. You do not have to wipe them during application. These stains do not need to be stripped or sanded before future maintenance coats. Sample cans are available for all of Armstrong-Clark’s colors.
